Hawaii Island police are searching for an 18-year-old woman from Hawi, who was reported missing after not contacting her probation officer.

Curtni Maria was reported missing by her probation officer on Nov. 27, 2019, according to the Hawaii Police Department. The probation officer had last contacted her on Nov. 4.

Mari was last seen on Jan. 26 in connection with a shoplifting incident in Hilo, according to police. She was reported as fleeing the area from loss prevention agents, and then leaving in a silver Honda Civic sedan operated by an unknown male party.

Maria is also wanted on a $25,000 warrant for criminal contempt of court, as well as questioning in the shoplifting investigation.

Maria is described as being part-Hawaiian, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds with brown eyes and long brown hair and a mole on the left side of the bridge of her nose. She is known to frequent the areas of Hilo, Honokaa, Kohala and Kona.
